The Alexandria Redevelopment & Housing Authority (ARHA) will host a public hearing at ARHA’s main office located at 401 Wythe Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. to discuss ARHA’s FY 2027 Annual PHA Plan, HOTMA updates to the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) Administrative Plan and Public Housing Admissions Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP).

The Annual PHA Plan identifies changes to essential elements and activities that enable ARHA to continue serving the needs of low-income, very low-income, and extremely low-income families in the City of Alexandria. The HCVP Administrative Plan contains the regulations and policies used to administer ARHA’s Housing Choice Voucher program (HCVP). The ACOP contains the regulations and policies used to administer ARHA’s Public Housing (PH) program. 

Comments or questions received by September 22, 2026, will, as appropriate, be addressed in the final versions, and/or considered in the development of the next Annual PHA Plan, HCVP Administrative Plan, and/or ACOP.
