SUBJECT: CAPITAL FUND PROGRAM (CFP) 5-YEAR ACTION PLAN FOR 2026-2030 DRAFT

A public hearing will be held at the Alexandria Redevelopment & Housing Authority’s (ARHA) main office, located at 401 Wythe Street, Alexandria, VA 22314, on Monday, November 16^th, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to discuss ARHA’s Capital Fund Program (CFP) 5-Year Action Plan for 2026–2030.

The CFP 5-Year Action Plan identifies ARHA’s planned use of HUD Capital Fund resources over a five-year period to address the capital needs of its public housing properties. The Plan outlines anticipated improvements, modernization activities, and other eligible capital expenditures necessary to maintain and improve ARHA’s public housing developments.

Links to the CFP 5-Year Action Plan for 2026–2030 (draft), plan elements, and relevant information will be available on the ARHA website (www.arha.us) and the City of Alexandria website (www.alexandriava.gov). Copies will also be available at ARHA’s main office at 401 Wythe Street, Alexandria, VA 22314, and may be requested by mail or email.

ARHA will provide at least a 45-day public comment period. Written comments or questions submitted in advance of the public hearing must be received by 5:00 p.m. on November 15^th, 2026. Comments and questions received during the public comment period and at the public hearing will, as appropriate, be addressed in the final version and/or considered in the development of the next CFP 5-Year Action Plan.

The ARHA Board of Commissioners will take official action on the CFP 5-Year Action Plan for 2026–2030, plan elements, and relevant information during its meeting at 7:00 p.m. on November 23, 2026.
