Homelessness is a deeply complex issue affecting individuals and families from all walks of life. In Alexandria, personal stories reveal the intricate challenges that have led to people experiencing homelessness, with many facing circumstances that are often out of their control. ARHA serves on the Partnership to Prevent and End Homelessness with the Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) and other organizations in the City of Alexandria.
