The City of Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities has opened up pre-registration for its Summer Power-On/Power-Up program! For families that receive benefits with the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), the summer program is FREE, but only if registrations are received between now and the due date of February 6th, 2026, at 11:59 pm. 

After February 6th, registration will open to all families and the Power-On/Power-Up Program does not guarantee the availability of the free slots. Register here before February 6th to save your spot now!
