Introducing Rent Café: Your New ARHA Online Resident Portal

Dear Valued ARHA Participants,

The Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority (ARHA) is pleased to announce the upcoming implementation of Rent Café, a secure online resident portal designed to make managing your housing information more convenient and accessible.

What to Expect

In the coming weeks, you will receive either an email or a letter via US mail containing instructions on how to register for your Rent Café account.

Once your account is created, you will be able to:

• Complete your Annual Recertifications online; You will receive an email notification you’re your recertification is available.
• Submit Interim Recertifications online.
• Securely upload required documents.
• Receive important notices and communications from ARHA.
• View information related to your assistance or tenancy.
• If you live in an ARHA-owned property, make your monthly rent payments online.

Action Required

Please look for your registration notice and follow the instructions to create your account as soon as you receive it.

Registering promptly will help ensure you continue receiving important communications and can complete required program activities electronically.

Need Assistance?

ARHA staff will be available Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to assist participants with the Rent Café registration process.
