About Us

logo.png(ARHA or the “Authority”) is a public agency established under the Housing Authority Law, Chapter 1, Title 36 of the Code of Virginia of 1938. It’s primary mission is to provide sanitary and safe dwelling accommodations to persons of low income at rents they can afford. Low income is defined by federal, state and local regulations for programs administered by ARHA.

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Performs complex administrative and confidential support functions to assist in accomplishing the administrative and operational functions of the Authority. Uses judgment and initiative to perform a variety of tasks involving reception, data processing, secretarial, and administrative duties for the departments. The duties listed below are illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements regarding duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment in association with this position.
